Serve

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister...

Mark 10:45

One of the ideas that drives us at Liberty is our philosophy of Connect, Grow, Serve. We want to see people connect to the life giving message of Jesus, grow in their faith and understanding of the word of God, then use their gifts, talents, and time serving God through our local and worldwide community.

We hope you're connected, we'd loved to know you're growing, and we're excited that you're ready to take the next step and begin serving. Every member at Liberty has the opportunity to participate in the work the Lord is doing in York County by volunteering to help in one of the ministries of Liberty.

There are many ongoing ministries at the church for you to be a part of.
You can become a deacon, serve in our guests services, help park cars, drive a shuttle cart delivering passengers to the doors of the church, join the praise team, get involved in Kidz World, Radiate, AWANA, or Liberty Beginners instilling the love of God to the next generation.
You can even get involved in our hospitality ministry as part of Liberty C.A.R.E.S.

Join any one of our teams to serve year-round and see our community transformed by the love of Christ.

Why We Serve

We strive to demonstrate by our actions the heart of Jesus found in Matthew 25:35-40.
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Liberty C.A.R.E.S. is a group of volunteers dedicated to providing Compassion, Assistance, Resources, Encouragement, and Support to our church family and community.
