What we’re about

We believe the Bible is God’s Word, given to us by God and inspired by Him. We believe that the Bible is completely true and trustworthy in all that it teaches. We believe the 66 books of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, are the complete and authoritative Word of God. We believe that God not only inspired His Word, but has faithfully preserved it throughout history. We believe the Bible should be understood according to the meaning intended by the original considering both the language and the historical and cultural context in which it was written.

We believe there is one God who has always existed, who depends on nothing outside of Himself, and who is infinite and unchanging. We believe this one God exists eternally in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, yet there is only one God.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only Savior of the world. He is fully God and has always existed as God. We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin and that He was God in the flesh. Jesus came to reveal who God is, to make a way for people to be forgiven and brought back into a relationship with God, and ultimately to rule as King over God’s kingdom.

Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life and willingly gave Himself as the sacrifice for our sins. His death on the cross was the payment for our sin, made possible through the shedding of His blood. God demonstrated that this sacrifice was accepted by raising Jesus from the dead.

After His resurrection, Jesus returned to Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.

We believe the Holy Spirit is a person, not simply a force or presence. He is fully God and has all the attributes of God. We believe the Holy Spirit has been actively involved in God’s work throughout human history.

We believe that beginning at Pentecost, the Holy Spirit began a special ministry in and through the Church that will continue until Jesus returns for His Church. His work includes convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He also gives new life to those who place their faith in Jesus Christ, helps believers grow in holiness, seals them as belonging to God, and fills them with His presence and power.

We believe that every person is born with a sinful nature because of the sin that entered through Adam. Because of this sinful nature, we are not only sinners by nature but also choose to sin. No one can overcome sin or make themselves right with God through their own efforts.

We believe our only hope is found in Jesus Christ. Salvation begins with recognizing our sinful condition and our inability to save ourselves, turning away from our sin, and placing our faith in Jesus as the only Savior. Through His sacrificial death on the cross, Jesus made a way for us to be forgiven and restored to a relationship with God.

We believe that those who reject Jesus Christ and refuse His gift of salvation remain separated from God and face eternal judgment in the Lake of Fire (Hell).

We believe the Church began with Jesus calling His apostles and was empowered by the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. Today, the local church is God’s primary means of carrying out His work in the world.

We believe a local church is made up of people who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ and followed His command to be baptized. Believers come together as a church family to worship God, encourage one another, serve others, grow in their faith, and remember Jesus through Communion.

We believe Jesus will first return to gather His Church in the Rapture before a seven-year period of Tribulation. Following the Tribulation, Jesus will return visibly and physically to earth and will reign as King for 1,000 year in the Millennial Kingdom.

After Christ’s thousand-year reign, we believe there will be a final judgment preceding God establishing a new heaven and a new earth, where He will dwell with His people forever.

We walk in authority, but never in arrogance. Pride seeks a position of power; humility seeks a position of purpose. Pride looks down on others, while humility kneels down to serve them. We choose humility because we believe true leadership is not about elevating ourselves, but about using what God has entrusted to us to serve others.

We believe true leadership begins with serving. If we are too big to serve, we are too small to lead. We are not seeking titles; we are seeking towels. Serving is Not simply something we do - it is who we are. We gladly serve wherever we are needed, because we follow a Savior who came not to be served, but to serve.

We believe everything we have ultimately belongs to God. We are stewards, not owners, so we choose to live with open hands rather than closed fists. We trust that God is able to restore what we willingly release for His purposes. We don’t give simply to get; we give because we trust God and want to be a blessing to others. We believe God can trust us with more when He knows He can give through us. Our greatest gain is not what we receive, but the opportunity to be used by God to make a difference in the lives of others.

We choose faith over fear. We believe that following God often means stepping beyond what is comfortable, familiar, or predictable. Faith means trusting God enough to move forward even when we cannot see the whole path ahead.

We are not afraid to dream big dreams or believe God for things that are bigger than ourselves. We take bold steps, pursue what God has placed before us, and trust Him with the outcome. We refuse to let fear keep us from following where God leads.

We believe love should shape everything we do. We don’t live to win arguments; we live to win people. We choose to build bridges, not barriers, and relationships, not resentment. Even when we disagree, we will treat people with grace, truth, and genuine love. Because if we don’t love, nothing else we do matters.

We understand the power of our words, so we choose to speak life. We sing loud, worship boldly, and give God the praise He deserves. We believe praise is both a privilege and a responsibility, so we refuse to be passive in our worship.

We will celebrate who God is, what He has done, and what He is still doing. Our praise is not dependent on our circumstances - it is a response to the goodness and faithfulness of God

We are committed to the truth of God’s Word, not our personal preferences or traditions. We refuse to get distracted by arguments and debates that do not move the mission forward. We are married to the message, not the method.

Times change, cultures change, and methods may change - but God’s truth never changes. We gladly change what needs to change to reach people without compromising what can never change. Our calling is more valuable than our comfort, and we will choose faithfulness over familiarity.

We have received grace, so we choose to give grace. We don’t live by what is fair; we live by what is right. We refuse to let shame define us or keep us trapped in our past. Regret reminds us of where we’ve been, but grace reminds us of who we are in Christ.

We believe righteousness is not something we earn - it is something we receive through Jesus. Because God has been gracious to us, we extend that same grace to others. We choose forgiveness over bitterness, restoration over rejections, and grace over shame.

Our God is glorious, and we want our lives to reflect His greatness. We believe glory is not about our performance; it is about our perspective. We are not striving for perfection - we are pursuing progress and becoming more like Christ.

We refuse to settle of ordinary when God has called us to something greater. We will give our best, pursue excellence, and continually grow in what God has entrusted to us. We will never settle for simply being good enough when we have the opportunity to glorify a great God.

We believe prayer is not our last resort; it is our first response. We don’t rely on our own strength, wisdom, or ability - we depend on God. The place of prayer is the place where we surrender our pride, seek God’s direction, and experience His power at work in and through us.

We believe there is power in a praying church. We will pray boldly, pray consistently, and pray expectantly, knowing that God hears us and is able to do what we cannot.
